What is CDS?

  • The Consumer Directed Services Program (CDS) is a Missouri HealthNet program for Medicaid recipients. If you are a Medicaid recipient, and are in need of assistance in the home, this program gives you an alternative way to receive home care services.
  • CDS puts you in charge of your care. Rather than using an outside home health care agency, you can direct your own care. You do all the recruiting, hiring, training and scheduling.
